As a utility 1 (basic maintenance around city parks, trash, with minimal training in waste water treatment) american im genuinely very impressed by the near perefect maintenance on the parks and round abouts (only critique i have is presonal preference its obvious they use an edge trimmer and dont round off the edge of the grass, but thats less efficient and so i can see why they would rsther streamline it then have to comin in with a weedeater after), aswell as the clean streets alleys and parkinglots

This is so bizarre. I wonder if there is any other country in the world where an orphanage is a tourist attraction. So many questions. Is this a nursery (daycare) or an orphanage? If it's an orphanage, why doesn't the washing room wash the bedding, towels, etc.? Why are there so many soda bottles in the freezer room? Why is there hardly any meat? Why the ridiculous temperature of -25 C? Did Kim really give three fishes for 100 children? Why are there 20 teachers for 100 children, yet only two cooks and no one doing laundry, repairs on clothes, ironing, etc.

The beautiful tune being played through much of the video is called 'Arirang' and it is a traditional story about a Korean girl and boy very much in love but living on either side of (and thus separated by) a fast flowing and treacherous mountain river. It is well worthwhile Googling. You will possibly not hear it played so beautifully and sensitively as it is here by this sweet lady, and I'm certain the friends who are with the lovely tour guide will never forget the delightful and serene time they had on that warm summer evening. The instrument is called a Zheng. Hope that helps.

I'm just curious what is it that you enjoyed about it? It was just time wasted. And BTW, the Western-style focus is the only true focus. NK is an isolated country where the people have ZERO freedoms and fear prison or death every day. THAT'S THE REALITY. Kim Jong Un is the most evil dictator that starves his people - in more ways than one - for the sake of his nuclear weapons. And he has BILLIONS secreted away while his people suffer behind the facade with no knowledge of the real world. It's all propaganda, for show. It's a very dangerous regime and I wish someone could eliminate the threat. Then maybe NK citizens could live in freedom.
